Jersey City witnessed a homecoming of sorts at The Citizen on April 29th. Four bands within the Central/North Jersey music scene came together for a fun night of food, booze, and music. Opening the show was up and coming prog rock band John The Gun. Big things are happening for this band, make sure to check them out at Starland Ballroom on May 21st. Rocky Catanese and his band The Chapter played their mix of 90’s sounding music mixed with a hint of southern rock guitar playing. Second to last band was Hell And The High Waters. The youngest of the four bands, in band years, expect to hear more from this band in the future. Lastly was Jared Hart. Fresh off his UK tour with Brian Fallon, Jared closed the night with smiles, sing alongs, and just making sure everyone at the bar was having a fun night.

Thanks for sharing these… great memories of a great night! I see you also have a shoot of the Brian Fallon show at Starland, going to look at those next. Will also point Brian’s (and Jared’s) fans at Dimestore Saints to your blog. Seems like we lot of the same bands!
Thanks a bunch! If you look through Hold That Sound Photography up at the top you’ll see a lot more including more of Brian Fallon and Gaslight Anthem. Thanks for looking!
