Every year guitarist and singer of The West Kensingtons, Bill McKinney, opens his doors and throws the best house show/party. There is always food, drinks, music, and the Philadelphia skyline. However, it is more than that, it is about community, having fun, and meeting new people. The atmosphere is always positive and the smiles are wide. This year’s show featured Easton, PA’s rocksteady group The Twilights, Philadelphia ska group Behind Deadlines, and of course The West Kensingstons. In between sets the soul, reggae, and ska tunes were spinning and everyone was dancing. A yearly tradition that we hope will continue.
