The month of October has begun! With that being said, I want to update this website better and possibly do a face lift. Concerts will be put on hold while I finish current ones and any backlog photos. Speaking of which, that brings me to one of my favorite shoots I did last year.
While the fall started winding down, the beginning of November brought me a surprise. Before I photographed Good Old War and Joshua Radin, photos here, I came across a view that couldn’t be ignored. Most of my life I always had in my head a shot I wanted to take, but didn’t know where or when. That shot was train tracks covered in Autumn leaves. I didn’t know if I would find such a place because sometimes the photos I’d seen looked fake. However, luck would turn up and right in front of me was my image.
The exact location, I am unsure of, but I think it is located in Mansfield, NJ over a small bridge. Are these tracks abandoned? I am unsure, but judging by the covering, maybe, and I never seen anyone on these tracks. Regardless, abandoned or not, this little site fulfilled my craving for what I’ve always been looking for.
Just like any other creative, don’t force creativity, eventually it comes to you.
