The first ever Folsom Records tour kicked off at Asbury Park, NJ on April 20th with The Social Animals, Dan Layus of Augustana, and headliner Twin Forks featuring Chris Carrabba. Up and coming band The Social Animals kicked off the show with their passionate and honest music, while Dan Layus of Augustana showcased his new solo material. Twin Forks closed the night playing for over an hour with old material, covers, and new songs. Chris Carrabba mentioned there is 7 inch vinyl made specifically for this tour, but due to unforeseen circumstances they didn’t have them in time for this date. However, it seems that a new Twin Forks album could be on the horizon, and maybe another tour with said release. Hopefully we won’t have another two years of waiting.
