Touring off his third and latest album, Pure Comedy, Father John Misty made his Bethlehem debut at Musikfest on August 6th.  Opening with the titled track, the crowd’s unified voices could be heard over Josh Tillman’s voice.  For the crowd there on a Sunday night, they made it clear that they were there for a show even if the next day was work day.  Josh pushed through a 18 song set while being the most entertaining front man out there today.  Father John Misty’s live show is a mixture of pure emotion, spectacular lights, and visually artistic.  From the lights to his stage presence, Josh Tillman and all of the members in Father John Misty are more than just an “indie” band, they are true entertainers.
