For the second year in a row, The Pietasters graced Bethlehem’s Musikfest with their ska, soul, punk sound that had the crowd dancing for the whole set. Compared to last year, the stage for this year was more fitting for the Pietasters, lower to the ground and not on a hill. This allowed for singer Steve Jackson to get into the crowd and have everyone sing along. With a time limit of 2 hours, the Pietasters had no problem filling the slot with their vast discography. Here’s to hoping the Pietasters become a Musikfest staple each year because they are one of the best bands to see on the free stages.
