It was a rainy Friday at Musikfest, but that didn’t stop the crowd from coming out and listening to some tunes by Dave Hause.  Since Musikfest gives band about 2 hours to play music, Dave Hause and the Mermaid were able to play about 18 songs spanning all his albums including some covers and “The Bridge” by his previous band The Loved Ones.  For any fan of Dave Hause, this was a great set to see just from the amount of songs played.  The only draw back was the height of the stage and location, fans weren’t able to get as close and Dave and company weren’t able to feed off the crowd as much.  Either way, it was great seeing an artist like Dave Hause perform at Musikfest and hopefully in the future we start seeing artist of his caliber performing at Musikfest.
